What does UPF stand for?
UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor. It is the ratio of the average effective ultraviolet radiation (UVR) irradiance transmitted and calculated through air to the average effective UVR irradiance transmitted and calculated through fabric. In other words, it is the amount of ultraviolet radiation that a fabric blocks. Hence UPF values are used in the Fabric's UV transmittance test by spectrophotometer equipment
What does BS stand for?
BS stands for British Standards. These are strict standards which we ensure all LittleLife products meet before we sell them to our customers. This gives you extra reassurance that the product is up to the job.
What is the Anchor Point?
The patented LittleLife anchor point is a feature unique to LittleLife Child Carriers which allows you to place your foot into the base of the carrier as an ‘anchor’ for greater security when placing your child into the backpack.
What is Illuminite?
Illuminite fabric is highly reflective. When out at night the Illuminite material will light up when a light source, such as car headlights, shines onto it.

Technical Questions
Carriers
I have lost a component of my carrier. Can you help?
Of course we can. We generally stock spares parts for all of our carriers, including zip-off daysacks, face pads and chest straps. We cannot guarantee that we will always have these in stock - please visit the LittleLife Spares Website. All prices quoted on the spares website include VAT and postage and are only available to UK residents.
Can I use the Sun Shade and Rain Cover with all LittleLife carriers?
For all LittleLife carriers made after January 2007 you are able to use the Sun Shade and the Rain Cover. The Rain Cover will fit better to the larger carriers in the range but is still compatible with the Ultralights and Discoverers.
Do any of the Littlelife Child Carriers fit the airline carry-on luggage allowance?
Yes. The Ultralight Convertible has been made specifically with this in mind.
Is my carrier washable?
Yes your carrier is washable and all removable parts are machine washable. Please refer to your Child Carrier care label for specific information regarding your model.
What age do the carriers go up to?
The limit on all LittleLife Child Carriers depends upon the weight of the child rather than age. The Ultralight Convertible carrier goes up to 15kg whilst all other carriers have a limit of 20kg.
